Movers & Shakers: Tall Black Guy

Once our Skype call ended, I concluded that Terrel Wallace, aka  Tall Black Guy had to be one of the coolest, down-to-earth musicians I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing. On his way to worldwide fame and introduced to the BI fam through BBC Radio, Tall Black Guy is cementing himself as one of the hottest producers of our time. From his neverending supply of head-bobbing instrumentals to his classic remixes, Tall Black Guy has made a name for himself with real music heads online and independant radio stations both here and abroad. Most recently, he was the winner of the Robert Glasper remix contest with his version of King’s Move Love. Listen in as KC and TBG chat about his background and introduction to production, some of the influences behind his projects, his remixes, and his recent move to the UK.

And if you were wondering, he stands a full 6’5. Enjoy!
