LA Babies, as we quickly bring summer to a close, Labor Day weekend out here will be filled to the brim with activities. One such event is the Black Music & Arts Festival, taking place at Rancho Park/Dorsey High School. Like our former African Marketplace and Cultural Faire, the Black Music & Arts Festival will showcase music acts and business vendors from around the city. Some of the acts slated to perform are Deniece Williams, Michel’le, and a special tribute to Don Cornelius by the original Soul Train Dancers. Details for this event are as follows:
