Movers & Shakers: A Chat with Wow Jones

Los Angeles is full of stars, but a few shine brighter amongst the masses – Wow Jones is one of them.

I had the pleasure of making Wow’s acquaintance in my own music endeavors and was introduced to him through a mutual friend. We clicked pretty quick and I was in awe at how humble he was in spite of his list of accolades as a music producer. At the time, I was floored by the work Wow had done – he had just come off tour with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, and was putting the final touches on a recent Teedra Moses project. I went on to discover that Wow had also worked with Ne-Yo, Omarion, Marsha Ambrosius, and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson to name a few.. Most recently, he’s added Jimi James and Ray J to his roster.

Wow and I randomly bumped into one another on a spring LA night and sat down to play catch up. Our conversation on the shift in the music industry, family, and our careers could have lasted for hours, and I decided it was time to get him on the mic. Listen in as we chat about his experience in the music industry, current projects, and his new company, WJMG!
